I have a unique background that sits at the intersection of AI and platform engineering. I enjoy both the creative process of developing intelligent applications and the engineering challenge of building the systems that power them.
My experience includes shipping a production-scale Generative AI (RAG) application using LangChain for a government client. This project gave me a deep understanding of the practical challenges of building and deploying AI systems, from data pipelines and model optimization to ensuring reliability and scalability.
A Passion for Building Robust Systems
My expertise in AI is complemented by a strong foundation in backend development and DevOps. I have a proven track record of delivering measurable improvements to system performance, such as achieving a 100x reduction in cache load times and 5x faster application load times for a portfolio of over 40 applications.
I am also the creator of Hikari and Autodeploy, two open-source DevOps tools built in Rust. These projects are a testament to my commitment to building efficient, reliable, and well-engineered solutions. I am passionate about automation and finding ways to streamline complex workflows.
